Bitcoin Firm Galaxy Digital appoints Ex-Goldman Executive Michael Daffey as Chairman

Galaxy Digital Holdings (BRPHF) has appointed named former Goldman Sachs Group executive Michael Daffey as its chairman ahead of a planned IPO later this year - WSJ.Mr. Daffey succeeds founder Michael Novogratz who will remain chief executive.Mr. Daffey was most recently served as the chairman of Goldman’s global markets division, which generated more than 40% of the firm’s overall revenue in Q1.Last month, the company appointed Alex Ioffe as its CFO.Earlier this week, the company has filed a preliminary prospectus with the SEC to launch Galaxy Bitcoin ETF.
