Bitcoin adoption for El Salvador to be effective September 7; Elon Musk returns

Addressing his nation last night, El Salvador President Nayib Bukele got into the weeds, demonstrating how to use bitcoin (BTC-USD) on the Chivo e-wallet. Said wallet will come pre-loaded with $30 worth of bitcoin for each citizen who downloads it (cell phone plan not required for use).The legislature earlier this month approved a bill making bitcoin legal tender in El Salvador, and that's to officially take effect on September 7.In other news, Elon Musk took to Twitter last night to have some fun trolling Bitcoin fans, Jack Dorsey among them. Dorsey is part of a group (Cathie Wood as well) that just formed "The B Word," dedicated to explaining Bitcoin to those who might otherwise be scared or otherwise put off by the crypto. They're having a conference in July and Dorsey has invited Musk to join.As for prices, bitcoin failed to hold the $35K level, and has retreated to $33.7K.
