Bitcoin gains a bit to $34.7K from its low of $34.2K earlier today. In April, Soros showed support for the crypto space by participating as a strategic partner in $200M funding round for New York Digital Investment Group, a bitcoin FinTech firm. And in a Bloomberg interview in March, Dawn Fitzpatrick, CIO of Soros Fund Management, is asked if she owns any bitcoin. She responds, "I'm not going to answer that." To which the interviewer responds: "That's what I call a mysterious response." As long ago as April 2018, Adam Fisher, a portfolio manager at Soros Fund Management, reportedly got the green light to begin trading in virtual coins. Other recent crypto advances: Coinbase introduces its 4% APY crypto savings account and Cathie Wood's wants to start a bitcoin ETF.
