Robinhood says cryptocurrency wallet is a priority, but gives no clues on timing

Robinhood Markets (NASDAQ:HOOD) co-founder and CEO Vlad Tenev says the fintech is working on a cryptocurrency wallet, something of particular interest to dogecoin (DOGE-USD) fans, but gives no indication on when it might actually have one. During the company's inaugural earnings call, Tenev instead points to efforts to build out its team to accommodate its growth. "So this year, clearly, Robinhood has had explosive growth in crypto during Q1 and Q2. And we’ve had to grow out the team, we made a lot of progress growing out the team and really hiring great talent onto crypto, and scaling our systems to make sure that we can handle the increased load," he said.
